Simple Wish
6” Square with an “H” hook

Stitch Abbreviations:
~Beg Corner: Slip stitch into ch-2 space, and work Ch3, DC, Ch-2, 2dc. Corner made.
~Corner: In next ch-2 space, work 2dc, Ch-2, 2dc.
~Double Decrease: Work a double crochet in the next stitch, until 2 loops remain on hook, work another double crochet in next stitch until 3 loops are on your hook. YO and draw through all 3 loops.
~3 Double Decrease: Work a double crochet in next stitch until 2 loops are on hook, work another double decrease in 2nd stitch, until 3 loops remain on hook, work another double crochet in 3rd stitch, with 4 loops on hook YO and draw through all loops.
~When you see something underlined, that means, that is how you work the specified stitch throughout the rest of the round.

Ch 4 and join to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3, 14 DC in ring, join. (15)

Round 2: Ch 2, Work a 2 double decrease, Ch6, *3 Double decrease, Ch6.* Repeat around and join IN top of 1st Star point. (5 Star points)

Round 3: Slip stitch into ch6 space, Ch1, SC in same ch6 space, FPDC in dc 2 rows below (Between 2 star points), 2 SC in same ch6 space. *Ch3, in next ch6 space, work 2 SC, FPDC, 2SC* Repeat around, ending with a Ch2 and join in 1st slip stitch.

Round 4: Ch3, DC in next sc, FPDC around post of next fpdc, 1 DC in 2sc, (2DC in next ch3 space, 1dc in 2sc, FPDC, 1DC in 2sc) 4 times. 3 DC in last ch3 space. Join (36)

Round 5: Loosely slip stitch in next 3dc. Ch3, DC, ch2, 2DC in same stitch. *DC in 8 dc, Work Corner in next stitch.* DC in 3dc, FPDC around post of next fpdc, DC in 4dc, work corner in next dc. Repeat between the * once more. DC in last 8dc and join. (48)

Round 6: BEG Corner, *DC in 12dc, corner in next ch2 space.* DC in 5dc, FPDC around post of next fpdc, DC in 6dc, work corner, repeat between the stars once more. DC in last 12. Join.

You can easily add more rows to make this bigger, but keep in mind that your second round will continue with the FPDC around the post of the next fpdc, to keep in line with the “handle” of the wand.
