Abbreviations/Special Stitches:
~FPDC: Front post double crochet.
~ 2DC CORNER: In next corner ch-2 space work,  2DC, CH2, 2DC. For all “CORNERS” of that round.
~Right Wings: In same stitch you just single crocheted in, work a ch12, SS in top of sc just made, SC in same st. and ch10,  SS in top of SC just made.  
~Left Wings: In same stitch you just single crocheted in, Work a ch10, SS in top of sc just made, SC in same st and ch12, SS in top of SC just made.
~Popcorn used is 4DC but you can use 4 or 5DC popcorn, whichever you prefer.

Ch4 and join to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch3 and work 15dc in ring.  (16)

Round 2: Ch3, DC, CH2, 2DC in same stitch.  SC in next dc and Work a Right Wing (see special stitches)  FPDC in next dc, SC in next dc and work a Left Wing. Work a 2DC corner in next dc.  DC in 3 dc, work a 2DC Corner in next dc.  SC in next dc and work a Right Wing.  YO hook 3 times, insert hook around the post of  the 1st  FPDC you did,  Pull through, (yo, and pull hook through first 2 loops) 4 times.  SC in next dc and work a Left Wing.  Work a 2DC Corner in next dc.  DC in last 3 dc and join.

*Note* Be careful not to snag wings.  Work behind them.
Round 3: SS into corner ch-2 space and work a ch3, DC, Ch2, 2DC.  *DC in 2dc, DC in between right wings, Popcorn in next stitch, DC in between left wings.  DC in 2dc and work a 2DC corner in next ch2 space.  DC in  7dc, work a 2DC corner in next ch2 space. Work a 2DC in corner* Repeat and join.    

*Note* Remember that there is a stitch right before the popcorn st. that does not look like a normal st, but it is and you need to DC in that.
Round 4: SS into next ch2 space and work a ch3, DC, Ch2, 2DC.  *DC in 11, work a 2DC corner. (Ch1, skip 1 st, DC) 5 times. Ch1, skip 1 st, and  Work a 2DC corner in ch2 sp.*  Repeat around and join.

Round 5: SS into ch2 space and work a ch3, DC, Ch2, 2DC.   DC in 1,  picking up the right ch12 wing DC in next dc. DC in 1, picking up the right ch10 wing DC in next dc. DC in 6dc  Picking up the left ch-10 wing dc in next dc, DC in 1dc,  picking up the left ch12 wing DC in next dc. DC 1, and work a 2DC corner in next ch2 sp.  DC in each dc and ch1 sp across to corner ch2 sp and work a 2DC corner.* Repeat around and join.
