I made a few stars at Christmas time... I had never even thought about using them as coasters! What an excellent idea!

This is a very simple and nice coaster, but I did notice a typo in your corner instructions-shouldn't that read 2dc, ch2, 2dc instead of 2dc, ch3, 2dc?

Yes!! Thank you for letting me know about the typo, I will get that fixed! :)

I love your work. I'm just an advanced beginner in crocheting and learning as I go. I have a (probably dumb) question about R3. It says [+DC in 2, SS in next st, DC in 2+, Work Corner] 4Xs. Does that mean one DC in two different stitches then SS? When I finish R2, I'm only one DC away from the corner space.

Not a dumb question at all! Yes DC in next 2sts, then slip stitch in next st. I hope that makes sense. I am sooo tired right now.

So glad I found you, I had a look at your Snowfall 12" square and then just had to have a look at all of your others. Thank you so much for making your patterns available. "One day" I shall make myself a king size bed blanket and I can see it now with some of your lovely patterns.

I've never used a patter with a + in it before, what does it mean?

Dragonflymomof2 said...

The + in my patterns mean to Repeat +to+ once more. I am in the process of re-writing my patterns out.
