PIXIE FLOWER 6" SQUARE

6” Square with “G” hook and WW yarn in 1 or 2 colors.

Rnd 1: Ch4, work 13dc in 4th ch from hook.  Join in back loop (BL) of beg ch4.  (14dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1,  2SC in same BL.  *2SC in front loop (FL) of next dc. 2SC in BL of next dc* Repeat around.  Join in the unused loop in front and below first sc. (28sc) See video #1 showing you how to join.

Rnd 3: Ch1, SC in joining loop.  [+Ch3, going behind your work, DC in unused loop of rnd 1.  Ch3,+ going in front of you work, SC in unused loop of rnd 1]6X.  Repeat +to+ once & join in first sc.  (7sc, 7dc, 14ch3lps)

*NOTE* In rnd 4, you will be working behind the ch3 lps.  Just make sure you have 28sc, the sts right before and after the dc sts, will be “harder” to see and get into.  Just make do.  

Rnd 4:  Ch1, going behind your work, SC in sc of rnd 2.  *note* you will probably be going a bit to your right for the first st.  SC in each st of rnd 2 around.  Join in BL of first sc.  (28sc)

Rnd 5: Ch1, SC in joining loop.  *SC in FL of next sc, SC in BL of next sc*.  Repeat around.  Pull through new color when joining in the unused loop in front and below your first sc.  (28sc)

Rnd 6: Ch3, DC in joining.  *Going behind your work do 2DC in unused loop.  Going in front of your work do 2DC in unused loop.* Repeat around and join in top of beg ch3.  (56dc)

Rnd 7: Ch3, DC, Ch1, 2DC in joining. (BEG CORNER made) [+DC in 3sts, HDC in 7sts, DC in 3sts,+ IN next st, do,  2DC, Ch1, 2DC (CORNER made)]3X.  Repeat +to+ once & join to beg ch3.  (40dc, 28hdc)  Slst in dc & into ch1sp.

Rnd 8: BEG corner.  [DC in 17sts, Corner in ch1sp]3X  DC in last 17sts.  Join to beg ch3.  (60dc)
