12” with an H Hook & Worsted Weight Yarn.
NOTES: “STS”=Stitches: Any st or chsps.
TRCLUSTER: **Yo hk twice, insert hook in next sp, pull up a loop (lp), (yo, pull thru 2lps)2x**.   *Yo twice, insert hook in next sp between dc sts, pull up a lp, (yo, pull thru 2 lps)2x.*  Repeat *to* once more in same sp, then repeat **to** once more in next sp, (5lps on hook) yo and pull thru all 5lps.  (Uses only 3sps, 1 in first, 2 in the second, and 1 in the last.
CORNER CLUSTER: *(yo twice, insert hook in next st, pull up a lp, yo pull thu 2 lps twice)2*.  Yo twice, insert hook around post of tr st from rnd 5, yo, pull through 2 lps twice.  Repeat between the *to* once more, yo and pull thru all 6lps.
Ch 4. Sl st into first ch to form ring.

Rnd 1: Ch3, 15dc into ring, join to top of ch3. (16dc)  

Round 2: Ch3, dc in joining st. [Dc in next 3dc, 2dc in next dc] 3x. Dc in next 3dc. Join to top of ch3. (20dc)

Round 3: Slst into sp between joining dc and next dc & ch6 (counts as dc & ch3).  In next sp between this dc and next, work a tr cluster over next 3sts.  *see notes.  [*Ch3, dc in next sp between last st worked in and next dc, 2hdc in top of next dc*, dc in next sp between last st worked and next dc, ch3, work a tr cluster over next 3sts.]3x.  Repeat *to* once and join in 3rd ch of beg ch6, fasten off color. (4tr clusters, 8dc, 8hdc)

Round 4: W/new color join in any ch3sp to the right of a cluster st & (ch3, 2dc) in same sp.  [*Ch2, sk cluster, 3dc in next ch3sp, 3dc in between the two hdc sts*, 3dc in next ch3sp]3x. Repeat *to* once.  Join in top of beg ch3. (36dc, 4ch2sps)

Round 5: Ch3, dc in next 2dc,  [*In next ch2sp work (2dc, tc in top of cluster st of rnd 3 (in front of work), 2dc in same ch2sp).  (Dc in 3dc, fptr in dc from rnd 3)twice*, dc in next 3dc]3x. Repeat *to* once & join in beg ch3. (52dc, 12tc)

Round 6: Ch3, dc in next 2dc. [*Ch3, work a corner cluster over next 5sts. Ch3, (dc in 3dc, fpdc in next st)twice*, dc in next 3dc.]3x.  Repeat *to* once, join in beg ch3. Fasten off color. (4 corner clusters, 44dc,)

Round 7:  W/new color join in any ch3sp to the right of corner cluster st & (ch3, 2dc) in same sp.  Ch2, sk cluster, 3dc in next ch sp. [*Ch2, dc in next dc, (ch1, sk st, dc in next st)5x. Ch2*,  3dc in next ch3sp, ch2, sk cluster, 3dc in next ch3sp]3x. Repeat *to* once, join in beg ch3. (48dc)

Round 8: Ch3, dc in next 2dc,  [*(3dc, ch2, 3dc) in next ch2sp. Dc in 3dc, 2dc in ch2sp, (ch1, sk dc, dc in next ch1sp )5x. Ch1, 2dc in ch2sp*, dc in 3dc]3x. Repeat * to * once & join in beg ch3. Fasten off color (84dc)  

Rnd 9: W/new color join in any corner ch2sp & (ch1, sc, ch2, 2sc). For each side, you will be working between the dc sts, as well as in the ch2sps [Sc in next 20sps, in corner ch2 sp, work (sc, ch2, 2sc)]3x.  Sc in last 20sp between dc and in ch1sps, join. (92sc)
Rnd 10: Slst over to next ch2 sp, (ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc).  [*Ch1, sk 2sc, 3dc in next sc,)7x, ch1, sk 2sc,* in corner sp work (3dc, ch2, 3dc)]3x.  Repeat *to* once, join. Fasten off color. (108dc)

Rnd 11: W/new color join in any ch2sp & (ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc).   [*Dc in next 3sts, dc in ch1sp, (fpdc around next 3dc together, (working over your chsp), trc in the 2 skipped sc on rnd9,)6x.  Fpdc around next 3dc together, dc in ch1 sp, dc in next 3sts,* in ch2sp work (3dc, ch2, 3dc)]3x. Repeat *to* once, join. (132sts)  

Rnd 12: Slst over to corner sp & (ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc).  [*Dc in 7sts, (fpdc in next fp st, dc in 2sts)7x, dc in 5sts,*  in ch2sp work (3dc, ch2, 3dc)]3x. Repeat *to* once, join. (156dc)  

Rnd 13: Slst over to ch2 sp and ch3, dc, ch2, 2 dc.  [Dc in next 39 sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next ch2sp.]3x.  Dc in last 39sts, join and fasten off. (180dc)
