I didn't...What made you want to learn crochet?

I didn't want to crochet, I began by knitting when I saw that other college girls were doing it. Then my roomie decided to show me a few crochet stitches, and well, I am still doing it.

When you find a pattern you like and want to work on, how do you determine color?

I pick what color I want to have in it, because I don't always like what the designer uses.

Do you usually use what is typical of the item you are working on, or do you just go crazy and do some off the wall color for it?

I will use my own color combinations, and experiment with the colors, because that is when I usually find what is most pretty. That is how my son got a rainbow colored crochet cat.

What is the most off the wall color combination you have seen?

My rainbow cat lol.

What is the most off the wall color choice you have been given for an item you were making someone?

I haven't had the pleasure of doing this for anyone yet.

Did anyone in your family crochet?
My grandmother tells me that her grandma crocheted with thread. That is why I got into doilies, b/c I took pride in the fact that I was doing what my grandma was doing.Ivory Hermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07445005089913884720noreply@blogger.com
