Measure your square, depending on your yarn, hook size, and tension, you may need to add a round.  I used Perfect Pink from Red Heart, it’s a slightly softer yarn than most of the Red Heart, so I had to add the following round.

I have also done this scarf in WW yarn, it measured about 5 ¾”W & 67”L

SPECIAL STS: DBLFPTC=Double Front post Triple Crochet: Work 2 FPTC around post of next dc in previous round. Single FPTC: Work 1 FPTC around both posts of next double fpdc. FPTC: Work 1 FPTC around a single dc post.  DTR:  (YO 3 times,  insert hook into st indicated. YO & pull up a loop. (Five loops on your hook.) YO & draw through 2 loops. (four loops on your hook.) YO & draw through 2 loops. (three loops on your hook.) YO & draw through 2 loops. (two loops on your hook.) YO & draw through two loops.)  ABBREVIATIONS: DEC=sc decrease over 2 sts. Row 5: Ch3.  DC in 8sc, DBLFPTC around the post of the 10th dc of previous DC row.  DC in last 9sc.  Turn  

Row 6: Ch1: SC in 9dc, DEC, SC in last 9dc. Turn (19sc)

Row 7: Ch3, DC in 7sc, DBLFPTC around 9th dc of previous dc row. (Or the dc to the right of the previous dblfptc).  Single FPTC around the dblfptc, DBLFPTC around next dc of previous dc row. DC in last 8sc. Turn

Row 8: Ch1: SC in 8dc, DEC, SC in 1st,  DEC.  SC in last 8dc.  Turn (19sc)

Row 9: Ch3, DC in 6sc, Work the following over the next 5sts: DBLFPTC, SINGLE FPTC around DBLFPTC of previous dc row, FPTC around FPTC of previous dc row,
SINGLE FPTC around DBLFPTC of previous row, DBLFPTC. DC in last 7sc. Turn

Row 10: Ch1, SC in 7dc, DEC, SC in 3dc, DEC, SC in last 7sts. Turn  (19sc)

Row 11: Ch3: DC in 6sc, slst in next sc, 7DC in next sc, slst in next sc, 7DC in next sc, slst in next sc.  DC in last 7sc.  Turn

Row 12: Ch1, SC in 7dc.  See the unused sc sts from row 8? Work one DTR (see special sts) in each of those 5sc. SC in last 7dc. Turn (14sc & 5dtr)

Row 13: Ch3 DC in each sc across. Turn (19dc)

Row 14: Ch1, SC in 7dc, Catch 4th dc of heart hump & complete sc in next dc. SC in 3dc, catch 4th dc of heart hump & complete sc in next dc. SC in 7dc.  Turn (19sc)

Rows 15-93 Repeat rows 5-14 8Xs.  

Row 94: Ch1, SC in each dc across.  Fasten Off.  (19sc)

2nd Strip:  Repeat pattern above.  This will have the hearts going the same direction. Once done with the 2nd strip, put the right sides facing each other, and whip stitch both pieces together. You can also slip stitch them together.  Scarf may need to be ironed once completed.
