Rnd 1, Ch4, Work 15dc in 4th ch from hook.  Join in beg ch4.  (16dc)


Rnd 2: In joining st do (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc)Beg Corner made.  [Dc in 3sts, In next dc, do (2dc, ch1, 2dc) Corner made]3x.  Dc in last 3sts & join w/slst in beg ch3. (28dc)  Sl st in next dc & in corner ch1sp. 


Rnd 3: Beg corner.  [Dc in 7sts, corner in ch1sp.]3x.  Dc in last 7sts & join.  (44dc)  Slst in next st & ch1sp.


Rnd 4: Beg corner.  [* (Ch1, skip-st, dc in st)5x.  Ch1, skip-st*, Corner in ch1sp]3x.  Repeat ** once & join.  (36dc)  Slst in next st & ch1sp.

I can’t take all the credit for this design.  My son, Aiden, who is 7 years old drew this picture for me when I was frustrated with a design that was not working right.  When I saw the picture, I knew that his drawing would not only be a perfect fit for my, “Symbols of Life” series, but that it would be perfect for saving the best for last!
