Size: 8 ½”, Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn: Peaches N Cream Cotton Amount: ______________________________________________________________ Abbreviations & Stitches Used:                    Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain   Slst=Slip stitch Sc=Single crochet Sp(s)=Space(s) Sk=Skip   W/=With Dc=Double crochet St(s)=Stitches   Lps=Loops    Bl=Back loop           Fl=Front loop        __________________________________________________________ Notes:  Bold print: Repeated in pattern. Sts: St/Chsp. Join: W/slst in beg st.  Rnds 3,5,7,9, & 12: Last bl will be hard to see, just do your best. Unused loops: When working in front loops (fl) you will have the back loop left unworked, these are called unused lps in this pattern.

Rnd 1: Ch4, work 11dc in 4th ch from hook, join in fl of first st. (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, 2sc in same fl, work 2sc in each fl around, join in both loops. (24sc)

Rnd 3: Slst in unused lp from rnd 2, (behind work), ch3, dc in same lp.  2dc in next 11 unused lps, join in fl of beg ch3. (24dc) 

Rnd 4: Ch1, sc in same lp, sc in next fl.  [2sc in next fl, sc in next 2fls]Repeat around ending w/2sc in last lp, join in both loops of first sc.  (32sc)

 

Rnd 5: Slst in unused lp of rnd 4 behind work, ch3, dc in same lp.  2dc in next 23 unused lps, join in fl of beg ch3.  (48dc)

 

Rnd 6: Ch1, sc in same fl.  Sc in each fl around, join in both lps of 1st sc.  (48sc)

 

Rnd 7: Slst in unused bl of rnd 6 behind work, ch3, dc in next 2 unused lps.  [2dc in next unused lp, dc in next 3 unused lps]Repeat around ending w/2dc in last lp, join in fl of beg ch3. (60dc)

Rnd 8: Repeat rnd 6. (60sc)

Rnd 9: Slst in unused bl of rnd 8 behind work, ch3, dc in next 3 unused lps. [2dc in next unused lp, dc in next 4 unused lps]Repeat around ending w/2dc in last lp, join in fl of beg ch3. (72dc)
