Rnd 1: Ch4, work 15dc in 4th ch from hook, join.  (16dc)

Rnd 2: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in joining st.  [Dc in 3sts, in next st work (2dc, ch2, 2dc)] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp. (28dc)

Rnd 3: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in sp.  [Dc in 7sts,  (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next sp.] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp.  (44dc)

Rnd 4: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same sp. [Dc in 5sts, work 2fpdc in next st, dc in 5sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next sp.] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp. (64dc)

Rnd 5: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same sp.  [Dc in 6sts, 2fpdc in next st, fpdc in next 2ststog, 2fpdc in next st, dc in 6sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next sp.]Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp.  (84dc)

Rnd 6: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same sp.  [Dc in 7 sts, 2fpdc in next st, fpdc in next 2ststog, fpdc in next st, fpdc in next 2ststog, 2fpdc in next st, dc in 7sts.  (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next sp.] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp.  (100dc)

Rnd 8: (Ch1, 3sc) in same sp.  [Sc in next 11sts, ch4, sk the 6dc of the heart hump, (looking behind heart at the slst between the heart humps, you will see 2 horizontal loops, sc into that those loops, ch4, sk the 6dc of next heart hump, sc in next 11sts, 3sc in next sp.] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst into next sc. (104sc & 8ch4)

Rnd 9: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same st. [Dc in 12sts, 4dc in chsp, dc in next st, 4dc in chsp, dc in 12sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next sc] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & slst over to chsp.  (148dc)

*Note: We’ll be catching the heart humps, you can skip this step if you don’t want to. 

Rnd 10: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same sp.  [Dc in 16sts, *(yo, insert hook between the 3rd dc and 4th dc of heart hump and complete a dc in next st,* dc in 3sts, repeat *to* once, dc in 16sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc in next sp] Repeat around minus last repeat, join & fasten off.  (164dc)
