Rows 17-112: Repeat rows 5 through 16, 6x.  At this point you should have 7 dragonflies.

Rows 113-122: Repeat rows 5 through 14 once, fasten off.

Take your two strips and lay them wrong sides together, slst through rows 122 on both pieces together, fasten off and weave in your ends.  This will ensure your dragonflies lay down your check right side up.  My example and pattern uses 8 dragonflies each strip, you can adjust the pattern to make it longer or shorter.

Personal use/print only, no pattern reproductions, selling or copying allowed.
