Rnd 1: W/A Ch4, work 14dc in 4th ch from hook, join in top of beg ch4. (15dc)

Rnd 2: Ch2, work a dcdec over next 2sts, [Ch6, work a dcdec over next 3sts] Repeat around ending with a ch6, join in 1st star point, fasten off color A.  (5points, 5ch6)

 

Rnd 3: W/B join w/slst in any ch6sp & ch1  [In ch6sp work (2sc, fpdc in dc 2 rows below, (Between star pts), 2sc), fpsc in next star point]5x, join to first sc. (20sc, 5fpdc, 5ch3)

Rnd 4: Ch3, dc in next 4sts, [2dc in sc, dc in next 5sts)4x. 3dc in last sc, join. (36dc)

Rnd 5: Ch3, dc in next 2dc,  [2dc, ch1, 2dc in next st, (corner made), dc in next 8dc.]3x.  Corner in next st, dc in last 5sts, join & fasten off color B. (48dc)

Rnd 6: W/A join in any corner ch1sp & ch1. [3sc in ch1sp, sc in next st, (ch1, sk a st, sc,)2x, sc in 3sts, (ch1, sk a st, sc)2x] Repeat around, join & fasten off color A.(44sc)

Rnd 7: W/B join in the 2nd sc of any 3sc corner & beg corner. [Dc in 2sts, (dc in skipped st (working over ch1), dc)2x, dc in 3sts, (dc in skipped st (working over ch1), dc)2x, dc in next st, work corner in next sc] Repeat around omitting last corner, join & fasten off.
