I am a daughter, sister, and mother. I have two boys, ages 14 and 5. Since becoming a mother I have learned a lot. I have learned that none of us are perfect and to take one day at a time. I am learning everyday!
I taught myself to crochet when I was pregnant with my oldest son. I had to be in bed a lot and needed something to do. I loved afghans and wanted to make a ton of them. What I learned was a new world!! I could believe all the things you could crochet!! It was amazing!! One thing I thought I would never be able to do was to design my own things. Well they always say, "Never say never!" I designed my first 12" square, "Popcorn Delight" and fell in love with the design world!
I think it is truly amazing that my squares are being made by so many people!! I hope to branch out to more designs such as amigurumi. I have mainly done squares, scarves, dish cloths, hot pads and coasters.
