Front: 

Rnd 1:  W/A, ch4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook,  join (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in same st.  2 dc in each st around, switch to B w/slst to join.  (24dc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, dc in same st.  [Dc in next st, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/dc in last st, join.  (36dc)

Rnd 4: Ch3, dc in same st.  [Ch1, sk1st, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/ch1, switch to A w/slst to join.  (36dc)

Rnd 5: Ch1, (sc, 2dc) in same st, ch1 (2dc, sc) in next st.  [Working behind ch: dc in skipped st of rnd 3,  sc2tog, working behind ch: dc in skipped st of rnd 3,  (sc, 2dc) in next st, ch1 (2dc, sc) in next st.] Repeat around ending w/dc in skipped st of rnd 3, join. Fasten off.   (18sc, 54dc, 9scdec)

Back (use one color) make sure it’s not the same color as your last round of front. 

Rnd 1:  W/B, ch4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook,  join (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in same st.  2 dc in each st around,  join.  (24dc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, dc in same st.  [Dc in next st, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/dc in last st, join.  (36dc)

Rnd 4: Ch3, dc in same st.  [Ch1, sk1st, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/ch1,  join.  (36dc)

Rnd 5: Ch3, dc in same st, ch2, 2dc in next st.  [Working behind ch: dc in skipped st of rnd 3,  sc2tog, working behind ch: dc in skipped st of rnd 3, 2dc in next st, ch2, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/dc in skipped st of rnd 3, join.  (54dc, 9scdec)

Rnd 6: Ch1, sc in same st, sc in next st.  [(2dc, ch1, 2dc) in chsp, sc in next 3sts, slst in dec st, sc in next 3sts] Repeat around ending w/sc in last st. (36dc, 54sc, 9slst)

Rnd 7: Ch1, sc in same st, sc in next 3sts.  [3sc in next chsp, sc in next 4sts, sc3tog, sc in next 4sts] Repeat around ending w/sc3tog, join. Fasten off.  (99sc,  9scdec) *NOTE: The 3sctog will be referred to as a dec st for joining round. 

Joining Rnd: Place the wrong side of front to the right side of back, lining up the ch1sp of front to the dec st of back, join C w/slst, ch1, sc through both sts,  [sc in next 5sts of back, 3sc in next st of back, sc in next 5sts of back, working through both pieces, sc in ch1 sp of front and dec st of back]. Repeat around, ending w/sc in last 5 sts of back, join, fasten off.
