NOTES: “Sts”=stitches means any st or ch sps.

Rnd 1: Ch4, work 15dc in 4th ch from hook.  Join in 3rd ch of beg ch4.  (16dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in joining.  Work 2dc in each st around.  Join in beg ch3.  (32dc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, dc in joining.  [Dc in next dc, 2dc in next] Repeat around ending with a dc in last st, join in back loop (BL) of beg ch3.  (48dc)

Rnd 4: Ch1, Sc in joining loop.  [Sc in front loop (FL) of next dc, sc in the BL of next dc] Repeat around ending with a sc in FL of last dc.  Join in the unused loop in front & below your 1st sc. (48sc)

Rnd 5: Ch1, sc in joining. [Ch3. (Behind work) dc in unused loop of rnd 3.  Ch3, (Going in front of work) sc in unused loop of rnd 3.]  Repeat around ending with a dc in unused loop of rnd 4 (behind work).  Ch3, Join in first sc.
