Size: 6” Square using, Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn: Worsted Weight in 2 colors: A & B ______________________________________________________________ Notes:  Bold print: Repeated in pattern. Sts: Work in next st/chsp. Join: Join W/slst in beg st, unless otherwise stated. ___________________________________________________________ Abbreviations & Stitches Used                     Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain Slst=Slip Stitch Sc=Single Crochet Sp=Spaces Sk=Skip W/=With Dc=Double Crochet St(s)=Stitch(es) Lps=Loops Fpdc=Front Post dc   Bpdc=Back Post dc

 

Rnd 1: W/A, Ch4, 15dc in 4th ch from hook, join.  (16dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in joining. [Ch1, bpdc in next st, ch1, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/ch1, join.  (24dc)

Rnd 3: Ch1, fpdc in  joining st, fpdc in next st.  [Ch1, 2dc in next, ch1, fpdc in next 2sts]Repeat around ending w/ch1, join.  (16ch1, 32sts)

Rnd 4: Ch3, dc in next st.  [Bpdc in next 2sts, dc in next 2sts]Repeat around ending w/bpdc in last 2sts, switch to B w/slst to join. (32sts) 

Rnd 5: Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc in joining st, beg corner made.  [Bpdc in next  7sts,  (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st, corner made.]4x, omitting last corner, join. (44sts)  

Rnd 6: Slst in next 2sts, beg Corner.  [Dc in next st, fpdc in next 3sts, bpdc in next  3sts, fpdc in next 3sts, dc in next st, corner in ch1sp]4x, omitting last corner, join. (60dc)

Rnd 7: Slst in next 2sts, beg corner.  [Dc in next 15sts, corner in next sp]4x, omitting last corner, join.  Fasten off, weave in ends.
