Size: 6” Square using, Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn: Worsted Weight   ______________________________________________________________ Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain   Slst=Slip stitch Sc=Single crochet Sp(s)=Space(s) Sk=Skip   W/=With Dc=Double crochet Sts=Stitches   Lps=Loops   Fp=Front post        Trc=Triple crochet       ___________________________________________________________ Notes:  Bold print: Repeated in pattern. Sts: Work in next st/chsp. Join: Join W/slst in beg st, unless otherwise stated.

Round 1: Ch4, 15dc in 4th ch from hook, join.  (16dc)

Round 2: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc), in same st, beg corner made. [Fpdc in next st, dc in next st, fpdc in next st, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st, (corner made)]4x, minus last corner, join.   (28dc)

Round 3: Slst in next 2sts, beg corner.  [Dc in next 2sts, sk 2sts, fptrc in fpst of rnd below.  Behind work: dc in the 2nd skipped st, In front of work, fptrc in the 1st skipped fpst of rnd below.  Dc in next 2sts, corner in next sp]4x, minus last corner, join.  (36dc, 4 braids) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lgbs6Dk2O4A

Round 4: Slst in next 2sts, beg corner.  [Dc in 4sts, sk 2sts, fptrc in fpst of rnd below.  Behind work: dc in the 2nd skipped st, In front of work, fptrc in the 1st skipped fpst of rnd below. Dc in 4sts, corner in next sp]4x, minus last corner, join.  (52dc, 4braids)

Round 5: Slst in next 2sts, beg corner.  [Dc in 6sts, sk 2sts, fptrc in fpst of rnd below.  Behind work: dc in the 2nd skipped st, In front of work, fptrc in the 1st skipped fpst of rnd below.  Dc in 6sts, corner in next sp]4x, minus last corner, join.  (68dc, 4braids)

Round 6: Slst in next 2sts, Ch1, 3sc in  same sp.  [Sc in 19sts, 3sc in next sp] Repeat around, ending w/sc in last 19, join.  (88sc)
