Sts: Work in next st/chsp. Join: Join W/slst in beg st, unless otherwise stated. ___________________________________________________________ Abbreviations & Stitches Used                     Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain Slst=Slip Stitch Sc=Single Crochet Sp=Spaces Sk=Skip W/=With Dc=Double Crochet St(s)=Stitch(es) Lps=Loops Fpdc=Front Post dc   Hdc=Half double crochet

Rnd 1: W/A, Ch4, work 11dc in 4th ch from hook, join.   (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, fpsc in joining st.  [Ch3, bpdc in next dc, ch3, fpsc in next dc) Repeat around ending with a bpdc in last dc, ch3 & join in top of first fpsc.  (6sc,6dc)

Rnd 3: Working behind rnd 2, slst in dc of rnd 1. Ch3, dc in same dc.  2dc in each dc from rnd 1, join.  (24dc)

Rnd 4: Repeat rnd 2.   (12sc,12dc) 

Rnd 5:  Working behind rnd 4, slst in dc of rnd 3. Ch3, dc in same dc.  2dc in each dc from rnd 3 & join. (48dc)

Rnd 6: Repeat rnd 2. (24dc, 24sc) 

Rnd 7: W/B, join with a bpsc around any bpdc from rnd4.  [Ch1, bpsc in next bpdc] Repeat around ending with ch1, join . (24sc)

Rnd 8: Ch2, 2hdc in same st.  [Hdc in next 2sts, sc in next 7sts, hdc in next 2sts, 3hdc in next st]4x, ending w/hdc in last 2sts, join.  (28hdc, 28sc)

 

Rnd 9: Slst in next st, (ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same st.  [Dc in next 13sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st]4x, ending w/dc in last 13, join.  (68dc)
