Size: 6” Square using, Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn: Worsted Weight in 2 colors: A & B ______________________________________________________________ Abbreviations & Stitches Used:                    Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain   Slst=Slip Stitch Sc=Single Crochet Sp(s)=Space(s) Sk=Skip   W/=With Dc=Double Crochet St(s)=Stitches   Lps=Loops    Fp=Front post         Bp=Back Post  _________________________________________________________ Notes:  Bold print: Repeats in pattern. Sts: St/Chsp. Join: W/slst in beg st.

Rnd 1: W/A, ch4, 15dc in 4th ch from hook, (16dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, [*Fpdc in next dc, 5dc in next st, fpdc in next st*, dc in next st]3x, repeat *to* once, join. (32dc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, [*Fpdc in next st, dc in 2sts, 5dc in next st, dc in 2sts, fpdc*, dc in next st]3x, repeat *to* once, join. (48dc)

 

Rnd 4: Ch1, sc in same st. [*Slst in next st, sk1, 9dc in next st, sk2, slst in next st, sk2, 9dc in next st, sk1, slst in next st*, sc in next st]3x, repeat *to* once, join. (72dc, 4sc)

Rnd 5: Ch1, bpsc in st below joining in rnd 3, bpsc in next 5sts. [Ch2, sk1, bpsc in next 11sts of rnd3]Repeat around ending w/bpsc in last 5sts, join.  Fasten off color A. (44sc)

Rnd 6: W/B, join w/slst in any ch2sp, ch2, 2hdc in same sp.  [Hdc in 11sts, 3hdc in next sp]3x, end w/hdc in 11sts, join.  (56hdc)

Rnd 7: Slst in next st, (ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc).  [Dc in 13sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st]3x, end w/dc in 13sts, join.  (68dc)
