Size: 6” Square using,  Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn Used: Worsted Weight Worsted Weight in 2 colors: A & B ______________________________________________________________ NOTES:  Bold print: Repeated in pattern.  STS=Stitches: Work into next st/chsp   JOIN: Join W/slst in beg st, (ch3, ch2, sc) unless otherwise stated. ___________________________________________________________ Abbreviations/Stitches Used                      Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain Slst=Slip Stitch Sc=Single Crochet Sp=Spaces Sk=Skip W/=With Dc=Double Crochet St(s)=Stitch(es) Lps=Loops Fpdc=Front Post dc   Hdc=Half double crochet

Round 1: W/A, Ch4, 15dc in 4th ch from hook, join. (16dc)

Round 2: Ch5 (counts as dc, ch2) Dc in same st.  [Dc in next st, v-st in next st]Repeat around ending w/a dc in last st, join in 3rd ch of beg ch5.  (24dc & 8ch2sp)

Round 3: Slst into ch2sp, ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc.  [Dc in next st, fpdc in next st, dc in next st, 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2sp]7x, Repeat *to* once, switch to B w/slst to join.  (56dc & 8 ch2 sp)

Round 4: Slst in next dc,  sc in next ch2sp.  [*(Ch3, sc in fpdc, ch3*, sc in next ch2sp)7x Repeat *to* once,  join.  (16 sc & 16 ch3 sp)

Round 5: Ch1, sc in same st.  [3sc in next ch3sp, sc in next sc] Repeat around, ending with 3sc in last ch3sp,  join (64sc)

Round 6: (Ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) in same st.  [Hdc in next 4sts, sc in next 7sts, hdc in next 4sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next st]4x, minus last corner. (48dc, 28sc)
