Size: 6” Square using,  Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn Used: Worsted Weight   ______________________________________________________________ NOTES:  Bold print: Repeated in pattern.  Sts:  Work into next st/chsp    Join: Join W/slst in beg st, (ch3, ch2, sc) unless otherwise stated. ___________________________________________________________ Abbreviations/Stitches Used                       Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain Slst=Slip Stitch Sp(s)=Spaces Sk=Skip W/=With St(s)=Stitch(es) Sc=Single Crochet Dc=Double Crochet   Fpdc=Front Post dc                            V-st=Dc, ch1, dc in st    Hdc=Half dc

Round 1: Ch4, 15dc in 4th ch from hook, join in top of ch4.  (16dc)

Round 2: Ch4 (counts as dc, ch1), dc in same st.  [Ch1,  sk 1dc, V-st in next st]7x, ch1, join in 3rd ch of ch5.  (8vsts)

Round 3: Slst in ch1sp, ch3, 2dc in same sp.  [*Fpdc in next dc, dc in ch1, fpdc in next dc, 3dc in next ch1sp]7x, minus last 3dc, join.  (48dc)

Round 4: Slst in next dc, ch4, dc in same st.  [Ch2, sk2sts, fpdc in next dc, ch2, sk2sts, v-st in next st]Repeat around minus last v-st, join.  (8fpdc, 8vsts)

Round 5: Slst in ch1sp, (ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc) beg corner made, in same sp.  [Dc in next 4sts, hdc in next 3sts, dc in next 4sts, (2dc, ch1, 2dc) corner made in next sp]4x, minus last corner, join.  (48dc,12hdc)

Measure your sq, if under 5”, use dc, at 5”, use hdc, 5.5”, use sc. 

Round 6: Slst in next 2sts, beg corner.  [Dc in 15sts, corner in next ch1sp]4x, minus last corner.
